ISDN can dramatically impact the way small business owners and entrepreneurs conduct their business. With Lucent's Look Big solution small businesses will be able to simultaneously communicate via integrated voice and data transmissions over a single, ordinary telephone line, providing a cost effective solution that virtually eliminates the need for multiple lines or additional equipment. In addition to saving money, the small business owner can save time as well. Our user friendly ISDN 970 high-speed data package will receive and transmit data at speeds of 64 to 115 kilobits – about 4 times faster than a 28.8 modem. This is possible because of a feature called MLPP which can transmit data over two ISDN channels. However, when that next important call comes in, our dynamic allocation of resources capability enables the system to automatically drop down to 64 Kbps, freeing up a channel so the user can take the call, or even make a call. Once the new call is complete, the system will again transmit over two ISDN channels at 115 Kbps. The ISDN 970 telephone provides unmatched eligibility in managing voice and data calls.
