The Public Safety product line has recently introduced technology advances in 9-1-1 to continue to enhance the overall end-to-end public safety product line. Bell Laboratories developed the first 9-1-1 answering systems in the mid-1960's to begin significant life saving advancement in fire, police and public safety responses. Although our name has changed, our commitment to public safety continues onward.

Palladium™ Digital Public Safety Answering Point

The Palladium™ Digital Public Safety Answering Point uses ISDN technology that removes seconds from fire, police or a safety unit's response time. When time really matters, this faster client/server system and a single ISDN telephone connection provides all the voice and data communication required to swiftly handle a 9-1-1 emergency call.

Palladium™ Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD)
Palladium Records Management and Mapping

The seamless integration of Palladium™ Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD), Palladium™ Records Management and Mapping with the call taking functions of Lucent's digital and analog PSAP (Public Safety Answering Point) creates a single platform to manage critical responses. The Palladium product line is the first PSAP platform to combine Enhanced 9-1-1, CAD, plus Police and Fire records management. This integration allows public safety teams an easy to use, high speed, crisis response system.

This system is based on client/server architecture accessed by a single desktop computer. One keystroke provides the telecommunicator with access to lifesaving information, hazardous materials, warrant advisories, graphical representation of incidents and much more.
