9.3. Practice

We'll show you how to install and setup a Chrome/Firefox Extension - Mailvelope, which will secure mail communication between end users. For more see https://www.mailvelope.com/en/.
Enter following command:
  1. Log in to the remote system using ssh. Log in as a user: bviXY password: bezpecnost

    Login bviXY is given by the lector
  2. From menu Applications -> Internet select Chromium.
  3. In web browser menu, select Settings -> Extensions -> Get more extensions
  4. Install extension Mailvelope
  5. Click icon next to star.
  6. Choose Options
  7. First of all we need to generate pairs of keys.
    • Click Generate key
    • Enter required fields

      Warning

      Don't forget password, try simple one!
      Email - enter your gmail email address
    • Submit
    • Click Generate another...
    • Again fill required data, but as enter your tuke.sk address.

9.3.1. SquirrelMail Webmail Mailvelope integration

Next step is to integrate Mailvelope extension to work with tuke webmail.
  1. Create new tab in web browser

  2. SquirrelMail
  3. Login to your account.
  4. Click Mailevelope icon -> click Add and close newly open tab
  5. Click "Nová správa" and then Mailvelope icon -> Add
