Facebook and the FBI

This little surprise was emailed to us earlier this year (in the middle of the night) concerning one of our Facebook accounts that's hardly ever used.  It certainly piqued our interest, so we accepted their offer to find out more.

Six minutes later, we received the following:

So basically, all Facebook could do was point the finger at the FBI.

We contacted the FBI repeatedly to find out what this was all about, but they refuse to say a word.  We were able to social engineer the name of the agent involved and discovered that he works in counter-terrorism.  Curiouser and curiouser!

While we wait for the FOIA process to play out, we thought we'd share what we know with the world.

Obviously, the FBI isn't too keen on doing that.
