	     [ - Phreaking: An Underground Revolution - ]
                 
	Phreaking is the sole purpose of learning and understanding how 
the phone company operates. A phreaker is one who constantly builds
his/her  knowledge of phone systems and understanding of vulnerabilities
within them ( may it be payphones, cellular, paging, etc.). Phreaking is NOT 
"any evil done regarding the phone company" contrary to popular belief. 
The term Phreaking has been abused over the years, and has been 
branded with the definition of ripping off the phone company.
 	
	However, making free calls to communicate more freely and affordably
is a small convenience to the everyday phreak. We constantly build our
knowledge and experiment to know what the everyday person does not. Knowledge
is our weapon against corporate monopoly and outrageous costs making us 
slaves to the phone company. We strive for the freedom to communicate more 
efficiently to other phreaks across the world. Spreading our message and sharing
knowledge with the outside world, we lead the underground in a new direction.
	
	I strongly urge you all to learn as much as you can, and experiment with
phone systems. Society as a whole has been tricked into accepting high costs
of communications. Corporate masterminds feed on the ignorance of society so they
can multiply, leaving our people with fewer options and increasing phone bills. 
We are the revolutionaries of this modern age. A technological world where 
the possibilites are endless awaits the arrival of a new generation of phreaks. 
It is time to unite the underground of phone phreaks as one mind, body, and soul.
