Thus, many of you phreaks havent really had the chance to explore the phone system. All information was gathered from several Meijer stores in our area. (Michigan) Enough of my gibberish! On to the Info! ----------------- Let's Start at the Basics. ################# #Telephone Usage# ################# >Calling a department: 1) Use the department directory located by each phone to identify the 3-digit extension of the department you will be calling. 2) Dial the 3-digit extension of the department you are calling. >All-store paging (Snicker, Snicker...) 1) Dial 79 2) Speak Clearly into the microphone, and say what you wanna say. (Make it good!) 3) Hang up. >Answering a call: 1) Pick up the reciver by the THIRD ring 2) Answer by giving the department name followed by you name. Example: Housewares Department, this is John. Auto Callback *9 Auto Callback Cancel *0 Auto calls connects a call to a busy telephone when the busy telephone becomes idle. Call Forward All Calls #2+ext. Cancel #0 Call Pickup *7 Allows a fone to be picked up from another fone in the same pickup group. (I was unable to retrive information about pickup groups. So, you're on your own for this one) Call Hold *4 Last Number Redial *1 Send all Calls *3 Cancel *0 Auto directs all calls to the next coverage point ################# #OUTSIDE Dialing# ################# Local: 9+Number Toll Phree: 9+1+[WATS NUMBER] hmm.. an ANAC maybe? Long Distance, Collect,Credit Card, and Operator assisted calls all require the use of a password. ################# #EXTENSION LIST.# ################# They may differ slightly, but, this is the standard format.
