Keyboard Layout
Use this plugin to set the default keyboard layout.
- Klick on the Edit button to open the file "keyboard.inf"
- Scroll to the section "[Default.AddReg]"
- Remove the semicolon to activate the desired keyboard layout
Example: To set the German keyboard layout the entry should look like this
; Remove the semicolon at the beginning of the following line to set the default keyboard to: German
0x1, "Keyboard Layout\Preload", "1", "00000407"
- Save the file, and thatīs it!
You can also change the current keyboard layout of WinPE during runtime by using the Keyboard Layout option in the System menu.
Available keyboard layouts are:
- Czech
- Danish
- Dutch (Standard)
- English (United States)
- English (United Kingdom)
- Finnish
- French (Standard)
- French (Belgian)
- French (Swiss)
- French (Canadian)
- German (Standard)
- German (Swiss)
- Hungarian
- Icelandic
- Italian (Standard)
- Norwegian (Bokmal)

- Portuguese (Portugal)
