Back in 2002 this office raided the home of a Muslim family. During that raid one of the agents scrawled "Islam is evil" and "Christ is King" on their Islamic calendar. Eventually, the agent was suspended for 6 months without pay. The suspect's wife was quoted as saying, "This person shouldn't be working for the U.S. government...He has a negative idea of Muslims." Gee, I wonder where he got that idea? Maybe it was because your husband was caught coming into the country with 9 counterfeit money orders totalling $12 million? Back during the 2004 election, a reporter for WIDR was covering the Republican National Convention. He was stopped by guards and was eventually confronted by members of this office when they found scribbled on one of his notepads the words, "I'm Gonna Kill the President -- A Federal Offense." Apparently, this was a play he was going to attend later on. Even after the mixup was cleared up he still lost his credentials and couldn't complete his assignment. Farone Paramore of this office is quoted as saying, "Regardless of the age of the individual, that situation will be thoroughly investigated." Regardless of common sense, too, I guess. It's unclear if the playright of the above play was ever investigated. Here is where you can read this tale.

Google lists the area code for this office as being 989 and not 517. The Google imagery is too grainy to be useful. Also, I have noticed that Google's maps don't always show rivers and inland waterways.
From the old DHS briefings comes this-
"Secret Service Prepares Site For Air Force One Landing In Michigan. The Saginaw News (8/5, Hoffman) reports, "The world's most important airplane, carrying the world's most powerful person is to touch down today at MBS International Airport in Freeland. Airport Manager Jeff A. Nagel will say little about preparations for the arrival of Air Force One. ... An advance team of White House staff and Secret Service agents typically arrives a week ahead to scrutinize security and plan for the president's needs, Owen said. 'The White House staff usually prepares our office with direct telephone service to their facility,' Owen said. ... Wednesday afternoon an Air Force C-5 Galaxy transport plane sat parked on the tarmac outside of the Owen Administration Building. It is the largest plane MBS has ever landed, Nagel said. Federal workers drove black Chevy Suburbans and a Cadillac limousine out of its belly and washed them near the MBS fire department garage." The News adds, "'They usually pick him up right on the tarmac,' Owen said. 'They have a well-planned exit route for him to depart on. It's not unusual to run two or more motorcades so you don't know which one he is in.' The control tower will restrict airspace surrounding MBS while Air Force One is airborne, Owen said. The MBS Fire Department and nearby fire departments likely will remain on standby, she added. ... Security at MBS today is incredibly tight. By Wednesday afternoon, every gate in the airport's perimeter fence was blocked by airport maintenance vehicles. In the past, the Secret Service ordered a farmer to move his wagon off airport property that he was farming because it could have provided cover, Owen said. Secret Service agents from the Saginaw office have airport schematics on file and are routinely in touch with MBS about security, Owen said. 'The Secret Service wants to know absolutely everyone who will have access to the ramp, and they run background checks on them,' Owen said. 'There is nothing left to chance.'"
OSIN- Although the airport manager didn't say much, this Owen person did. So, they use multiple motorcades, eh? And they arrive a week in advance, eh? And farmers are allowed to farm airport property, eh?
