Like all good SS offices, this office has to deal with the 419 scams (Nigerian scam letters) that plague us all. The odd thing about this particular episode was that it was so specific to Idaho. The scam had to deal with the dearly-departed former govenor Robert Smylie's estate and promising the recipient had been left money from his estate. His son, Steve, was outraged since the email had factual information about his father. Well, Steve, that's why social engineering works so well. It also works well when religion tries to confuse the Intelligent Design shit with science. Anyway, for some reason, these people felt that an overseas email provider is highly significant. It isn't. My guess is the fiend has some connection to Idaho. Foreigners aren't going to know or care who the governor of Idaho is, was, or shall be, unless they are forced to live there.
