AF-1 information related to the following airports:

BUF- AF-1 was here on 4/20/2004 touting his usual tragedy, the Patriot Act. No doubt he'll find this project of mine (Project 2) a threat to America. However, there was suprisingly little informationn on AF-1 visits to Buffalo. He must not like it there.

CLE- Suprisingly little about AF-1 here. Bush must've come here since he stole the state in 2004. Carter was here in 1980. Okay, you have to do a search using the full name of "Cleveland-Hopkins International" and "Air Force One" to find more information on AF-1. Bush was here back in April 2005 touting that damned Social Security lie of his. This article at http://www.ohio.com/mld/ohio/8346323.htm talks about the experience of a private pilot who dared stray into the Presidential no-fly space while Bush was at this airport. Once again, it talks about the 30 mile radius restriction around CLE. But, this was not always the case. Apparently this rule was enacted after 9/11; it used to be just 5 miles. Anywhere AF-1 goes it causes havoc for all pilots. Who needs terrorists to disrupt air traffic when you've got AF-1. Hmm. Here's some interesting information about CLE and the Secret Service. I didn't realize the Secret Service can be entwined with airport security across the nation. Apparently, this was one of the changes Bush made after 9/11. You can read it at http://www.airports-weekly.com/news_display.asp?ID=3541, but I provide the entire section here:

"Cleveland Hopkins International Airport: Michael S. Young currently serves as the special agent in charge of the United States Secret Service's Field Office in Cleveland. As the special agent in charge, Young is responsible for establishing and implementing security plans for major events attended by the president and other political dignitaries. He also supervised a two-year undercover international money laundering investigation that culminated in the arrest of 20 members of an organized crime unit. Prior to working in Cleveland, Young served as the special agent in charge of the Charleston, WV, field office where he instituted new investigative initiatives and partnerships throughout the state and changed the office performance rating from below average to superior. Young also served in the Presidential Protective Division where he was the detail leader for first lady Barbara Bush. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Temple University.

The position of federal security director was created by the Aviation and Transportation Security Act, signed by President Bush on Nov. 19, 2001. Secretary Mineta said the new FSDs will fill a crucial gap in aviation security by providing, for the first time, a clear line of authority for security at our nation's airports.

FSDs are under the direction of the Under Secretary of Transportation for Security John Magaw, and oversee federal security operations at the nation`s airports. The starting salary for executive-level FSDs is $105,000 - $150,000.

FSDs will be responsible for a full range of airport security, enforcement and oversight, including:

- The efficient implementation, performance and enhancement of security and screening standards for airport employees; - Airport security risk assessments; - Supervision of federal law enforcement activity within the purview of the TSA; and - Organizing and implementing the Federal Security Crisis Management Response Plan for each airport. This announcement brings the total number of FSDs announced to 42."

DTW- Well, I know he's been to Detroit, but there's not much about DTW and AF-1.But, there is this at http://www.bettybowers.com/newsbush.html. Sometimes I can't tell if Internet stories are tongue-in-cheek or real, but this is one of those gems which may disappear, so I replicate here:

-------------------------------------------------------------

DETROIT, MI (AP). George W. Bush appeared last night at a potluck supper held by "Right to Life" in an elegant suburb of Detroit, Michigan. During the dinner he was asked by Mrs. Wallace Summerstock to respond to reports being circulated in liberal circles (but carefully avoided by America's heretofore "liberal press") that Mr. Bush had impregnated an underage girl and paid for her to have an abortion in Houston in 1970.

Mr. Bush, appearing somewhat surprised by the hostess' query, responded: "Well, I'm a governor. That's what governors do. We govern. We make decisions." When further pressed for an explanation about whether the abortion had actually occurred, Mr. Bush laughed a bit and said: "Now, I'm not going to get into responding to rumors like this. But I will say that I have not paid for any underage girls to have abortions in 40 years. No, of course, I meant 30 years. Well, let's make that 31 years just to be on the safe side. And I have not done any of that cocaine stuff in 24 years and four months and three days. And I have not been AWOL from the Air Force in going on 28 years now. And I haven't cheated on my lovely wife Laura in -- well, let's just say since before Bill Clinton cheated on his. And, I'm proud to say, it's been quite a while since I danced on top of a bar naked drinking tequila and shaking my ass and dick!"

Reports of Mr. Bush paying for an underage girl to have an abortion can be traced back to Larry Flynt, who says he has four affidavits to support the shameful allegation. Mr. Flynt is a dreadful smut peddler who will say anything - even if it is true - to besmirch those who stand up for traditional family values and the rights of the unborn. In the past, Mr. Flynt has repeated horrible stories about Bob Livingstone, Newt Gingrich, Helen Chenoweth, Dan Burton, and Henry Hyde having affairs and Bob Barr paying for an abortion - all of which, while absolutely true, would have been left unspoken by anyone from a good family.

Mrs. Bowers said to her dear friend Barbara Bush after hearing the news: "Bar, I know we all agreed that we hated Bill Clinton so much we'd put an idiot - I mean, anyone in the White House other than a Demon-crat, and I won't have a word said against your son, but I ask you! A child molester?" After reassuring Betty that the girl looked "almost legal," Mrs. Bush further assuaged concern by pointing out: "Yes, George made his underage lover kill their baby, but you have to understand, he was out of his mind on cocaine at the time. There is a really good chance that he would never make a fifteen year old do that now."

Bush spokesman Ari Fleischer responded by saying "Governor Bush has not changed his position on abortion. He is no hypocrite. It was illegal when he had it done and he wants it to be illegal for everyone else, too. Fair is fair."

OSIN- You know, after looking through the website, I feel it's probably a satirical work and not necessarily true, but you never know. >:P

PIT- In 2002 AF-1 came to this area and landed at the Pennsylvania Air National Guard section of the airport, located on the southeast corner. Ah, Senator Arlen Spector's website tells me this is the 171st Refueling Wing. Got JP-8? Anyway, Bush was here countless times trying to win over voters in 2004.

ROC- According to the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle, AF-1(the 747 one) landed here on May 25, 2005, the first time in 16 years that a President visited the area. While Bush was off giving a speech at a high school, several people looted AF-1 of its Presidential M&Ms. Damned New Yorkers. You can read about the nefarious affair at http://www.democratandchronicle.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20050525/NEWS01/505250362.
