AF-1 information related to the following airports:

MCI- AF-1 has been here several times. You know, although George doesn't want anyone to know where he's going to be at times, I'm not sure he knows either, Clinton loved to give out his itineraries. I come across them ever so often. And they're good intelligence in telling me where AF-1 might land when it goes to a certain locale. This airport is quite popular with all Presidents. One thing that I've learned is that AF-1 likes to land at airports which may have a military air group colocated at the facility. That way, the President can be moved via helicopter (Marine One, Army One), or on another smaller aircraft which would then become AF-1.

STL- AF-1 was at this facility in Oct 2004 to take Bush to the second debate with Kerry. The reporter in this piece mentions that Bush likes to go to bed around 9:30pm. I thought I was the only one. That's very odd. Anyway, the article is a short piece, but it can be read at http://www.kmov.com/news/Election/stories/100704cccakmovbusharrives.e172500.html. Note the propaganda photo of Bush getting off AF-1 at sunset. At least he didn't fall down the stairs like Ford.
