Basic Communciations Package (BCP)

Basic Communications Package provides a low cost telecommunications management software solution. BCP receives, collects, reformats and transfers message detail recording (MDR) data in a standard or customized format.

BCP is a hardware/software package designed to run on an Applications Processor in conjunction with either a Centrex or PBX switch. It provides the user with menu-driven, screen-oriented interface.

BCP provides multiple switch and delivery method options to fulfill customers' needs for Message Detail Reporting (MDR), Traffic Data and Traffic Surveillance. It supports three configurations with input from 6 to 20 switches and output from 50 to 100 customers. BCP supports multiple switch types within a network.

BCP requires minimal administration. BCP Version 5 is available on the HP 9000 Series. Its scaleable hardware platform enables one to begin with a low end model and easily upgrade as operational needs increase.
