The 5ESS®-2000 Switch has supported long distance since 1983. Now we add distinctive ringing and call waiting tones for incoming long distance calls and additional functionality for AIN (Advanced Intelligent Network) toll free services in the 5E11 software. These features create a climate for more call completion, better time management, and overall improved costs.

With Lucent Technologies' long distance package, the reach, features, and functionality of a network have no reasons for limits. Core long distance signaling, high speed access, operator services and international gateway access in networks worldwide is available.

Long distance capabilities in call handling and routing enhancements are extended with 5E11 software. Advanced toll free services on ANS are available along with extended Virtual Private Network (VPN) capabilities. 5E11 software provides a number of long distance enhancements.
